Follow along for tips to being “ORGANIZED ENOUGH”—simple habits that bring peace, not unobtainable perfection, to the daily management of your home and possessions...

FORGIVE YOURSELF!
A happy place exists between insanely ordered perfection and overwhelming clutter called “ORGANIZED ENOUGH.” The simple philosophy, coined by Amanda Sullivan in her book of the same title, starts with FORGIVING yourself for not attaining picture perfect homes where nothing gets out of place and, instead, choose a level of tidiness that makes you satisfied and stick with it.
Let it GO!
The second step to enjoying a home that is ORGANIZED ENOUGH is to give yourself permission to "Let It Go"! You are not obligated to keep possessions that no longer serve a purpose... outdated clothes, books you will not read again, broken or duplicate utensils, tools or supplies, memorabilia you don’t care to remember, fads that have seen better days... be grateful you had them when you needed them... set them and yourself free and let them go now!
Organize what's left... but take inventory first
Know what you have—and where it all is before you jump into organizing just one area. TAKING INVENTORY of the whole house insures that you can adequately purge and find the most functional way to organize what’s left. Take an hour for this easy, eye-opening, step to plan before you decide on the best plan ORGANIZED and the key to STAYING ORGANIZED is making sure the space you dedicate to storing certain items can handle the inventory!
Weed constantly...
And lastly... once you FORGIVE YOURSELF for not having a perfect home, LET GO of possessions that no longer serve a good purpose, and ORGANIZE what’s left into practical spaces... be sure to WEED constantly. Always be on the lookout to throw out items that you can do without!
